Option No. 2
Attend a course in higher education institution in home country for the required 12 years of education. After that, study the Japanese language either in Malaysia or in Japan if the student’s Japanese isn’t good enough.
Next Step
Sit for “Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students” (EJU) in Malaysia or later in Japan.
Apply to schools offering “Pre-arrival Admission System” based solely on EJU results
OR Apply to schools which use EJU results as well as their own entrance examinations

Undergraduate schools : 4 years
….6 years for medicine, dentistry & veterinary science
Junior colleges : 2~3 years
Specialised training colleges : 2 years
Colleges of technology : 2~2.5 years
Note : There are also some undergraduate programmes conducted in English medium.

If the command of Japanese language isn’t good enough, study Japanese in Malaysia before going to Japan, or study it for a certain period after arriving in Japan.
