What a night! On November 28 JAGAM Nite 2009 was held at A’ Famosa, Melaka. A full house of 80 over members and their families packed into the Istana dining room for some good food, good company and good jokes. Judging by the all these happy faces and pleasant conversations, a very enjoyable evening was had by all who attended the JAGAM Nite.
Prior to the dinner, there was also a slide show in the ballroom that gives a nice touch to remember this year activities, courtesy of JNB, JCB and JSB.
Nearly everyone dressed in traditional costumes of various countries, Mr. Raymond Tan’s Indian costume and Ms Elsie Thye’s interesting Vietnamese Ao Dai attire the highlights, with both of them won the Best Dressed JAGAMer of Gentleman and Lady.
To add spice to the dinner, we had games like Gossips, Rumours and Hearsays, Who am I, Bingo and JAGAM Idol 2009. All the games were fun. The game master, Mr. Raymond Tan, is a hard act to follow during JAGAM Idol and should really have been on the stage. Ms Lydia Tee is ultimately the winner of JAGAM Idol 2009.
We would like to thank our following donors for making JAGAM Nite fun and exciting for all of us: Mr. Goh Peng Ooi, Mr. Ting Sii Liong, Mr. Lee Check Poh, Mr. Wong Yuen Seng, Dr. Chan Chee Keong, Mr. Goh Nge Seung, Mr. Kon Chau Seeong and Mr. Phua Lee Kerk.
With funs, karaoke, wines and beers going on long into the night and into the morning, we should probably rename our JAGAM Nite, "JAGAM Saturday Night and Sunday Morning".
So, that is what our JAGAM Nite 2009 are all about, if you haven't attended one, just give it a try and you are sure to enjoy yourself and why not book early for next year as, "Make it a Date,....In 2010"
